Are poppies illegal?
Cheappoppies.com does not knowingly sell the Papaver Somniferum variety. We only sell ornamental dried poppy pods purchased from commercial growers and wholesalers. There are many specie and sub specie of poppies. There are also cross bred (hybrid) poppies. Our primary supplier harvests a cross bred poppy hybridized from the Setigerum species, which is ideal for ornamental use as the appearance, shape, color and size of their poppy is superior to a dried Papaver Somniferum pod.
Cheappoppies.com does not knowingly sell poppies of the Papaver Somniferum species and sells its dried poppy pods for use in floral decorating and design (ornamental) purposes only. We make no warranty concerning the fitness or merchantability of any of our products for non-ornamental use or misuse of any kind. We will not answer questions regarding non-ornamental use of poppies. Ordering from our website constitutes agreement with and acceptance of these terms and conditions and releases Cheappoppies.com from any and all liability. We reserve the right to change the above policies without notice. For a summary of the law governing poppies, visit: http://www.erowid.org/plants/poppy/poppy_law.shtml.

What will appear on my credit card statement?
Direct credit card billings will show "PSC Distribution", our parent company.
Why do I have to provide a phone number or email address?
A phone number is important for our shipper in case they have problems delivering you package to you. By providing your email, it allows us to communicate quickly and cost effectively with you. It'll also allow us to send you updates on special promos only available to our current customers.
Why don't you take orders by telephone or fax?
Very few of our customers have requested ordering by telephone and fax. Not having a fancy toll free telephone number helps us keep costs low so that we can offer you the best poppies at the lowest prices on the Internet! We find e-mail is our best tool for communication with our customers and we respond to 90% of them within 24 hours. Many within a few hours!
My order arrived and it looks like there is some mold on the pods. How can I be sure?
Mold is generally not a problem with the dried pods we purchase from our grower. Many customers confuse the occassional dark brown or black spots on the crowns of the pods as mold. A moldy pod is pale green/grey in color and will crumble with little pressure when squeezed.
